Health and Physical Education Mr. Vincent Fadale ([email protected]) Physical Education What we’ve been doing? Students have continued gameplay this week in grades 3-8. K-2 students have been working on shooting as they have been practicing shooting the ball into the net with bin goalies. This helps develop the habit of students aiming for the corners of the goal. What we are going to do? K-2 students will be playing some dodging and fleeing games along with some parachute activities. 3-5 students will finish with their last day of soccer with game-play. 6-8 will receive a study guide for their quiz and finish up with their last day of game-play. Students will also be officiating their own games independently. Health (Middle School) What we’ve been doing? 6th grade students have learned about how different body systems work together so that our body can move. 7th and 8th grade have learned about healthy eating and how to follow dietary guidelines. We also discussed how food guidelines have changed over the past decade. What we are going to do? 6th grade students will learn how different body systems interact to get vital materials throughout our body. 7th and 8th grade students will not meet due to practice PSSA Testing.
