Health and Physical Education Mr. Vincent Fadale ([email protected]) Physical Education What we’ve been doing? K-2 students have continued dodging and fleeing games. The games we played this week were called “Builders and Bulldozers” and “Steal the Bacon.” 1st and 2nd graders also incorporated some basic math and spanish into steal the bacon. 3-5 students have started our track and field and kickball unit. We worked on sprinting this week and learned the rules to kickball. 6-8th grade students have started their football unit. Students learned how to pass and catch a football. After learning how to pass and catch, students were able to use those skills in our capture the flag game. What we are going to do? K-2 students will be continuing dodging and fleeing games. 3-5 students will continue their track and field/kickball unit. 6-8 will continue their football unit. Health (Middle School) What we’ve been doing? 6th grade students learned how the nervous and endocrine systems control body function. 7th and 8th grade brought in nutrition labels from home and worked as a group to rank them from healthiest to least healthiest. What we are going to do? We did not meet due to the shortened week.
